Antoni Olszewski
Antoni Olszewski was born in Bydgoszcz (Poland). He studied Jazz instrumentalistic, in the Faculty of Conducting, Jazz and Music Education. He graduated from the Academy with the Master of Music degree. In the past he worked at famous jazz band Contemporary Noise Sextet. With this band he played at many jazz festivals in Europe such as Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival i Preveza Jazz Festival (Greece), Enjoy Jazz Festival (Germany), Jazzbląg Festiwal, Lidzbarskie Wieczory Jazzowe (Poland).
He is the winner of 2nd prize on the XX Big Band Festival in Nowy Tomyśl with Big Band’s Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. He took part in recording DVD „Pawbeats Orchestra” conducted by Krzysztof Herdzin. He performed at Festival Muzyki Improwizowanej Jaz w Zabrzu with his family band called „Olszewscy Trio” with guest participation such musician as Adam Wendt and Bartosz Hadała. He cooperate with Vadim Brodski, Eljazz Big Band, Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz. As a double bass and bass guitar player he is invited to many cultural events in Poland.
