Tomasz Gluska

Tomasz Gluska graduated with distinction from the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz in the trumpet class of Professor Roman Gryń. He participated in the contests such as: All-Poland Festival of Trumpeters in Kalisz, International Brass Instruments Competition in Gdańsk, the Competition for Yamaha Scholarship. Tomasz Gluska is the prizewinner of the 3rd International Brass Instruments Competition in Gdańsk on which he was given the distinction and the reward funded by the City Council of Gdańsk. He took part in many courses conducted by the outstanding trumpeters and teachers such as: Andrew Balio, Konradin Groth, Richard Giangiulio, Richard Carson Steuart, Manfred Bockschweiger, Wolfgang Bauer, Gabriel Cassone.In everyday life he works as the trumpeter in Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz. He gives concerts both as a soloist and as a member of the chamber orchestra. He is the trumpet teacher in the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and in Arthur Rubinstein Music School in Bydgoszcz. Tomasz Gluska collaborates with many orchestras and bands, for example, Capella Bydgostiensis, Triumphal Brass, El-Jazz Big Band. He has got national and international performances on his scorecard as well as some recordings with bands performing classical, jazz or light music. Tomasz Gluska conducts courses for the trumpeters and the teachers as well as the methodological consultations for the students and the teachers in the educational institutions in Poland.
